Picture 1 shows the unused valve cover vent tube retainers at 6:30 and 9 o'clock on the case.

Pictures 2 & 3 show the cleaner look of the left side of the engine once the valve cover vent tube was re-routed.

Pictures 4 & 5 - the unused retainers.

The valve cover vent hose is re-routed to a higher location because if you stall in deep water, the engine may suck water into the head/valve area and turn your oil to a whitish green liquid.
